Using the #AmazonBasket it is now possible to add products to your amazon basket with just a simple reply using the #AmazonBasket hash tag.
Once your twitter and Amazon accounts are connected (Amazon does need access to your message streams), then use the hashtag any time someone tweets about a product you want to buy. It gets added to your basket and you go back and pay for it later.
How does it work?
- Go to Amazon to link your twitter account to Amazon
- Reply with #AmazonBasket to the link you like
- Finish shopping later
How does it not work?
If you tweet a link to a item that requires an option choice, shows, clothing, fabric rolls, it will select the first one. It maybe best to only use with items that have no options until they work that one out. Clothing and Shoes are big business so I do not imagine it will be long before it is sorted out.
We're off to give it whirl now!
